SEND-Friendly Family Photographer in Teesside

A photoshoot can feel like a lot for some children, and for their parents too. My sessions are patient, flexible and led by your child, so nobody feels rushed or put on the spot.

I have experience of working with children with SEND. I’m autistic myself, and so are both of my children, so I understand that every child experiences the world differently. I have lived experience of working with children with OCD, PDA, ADHD and non-verbal children.

• A chat before the session to talk about your child, what they enjoy and what they find difficult.
• No time pressure, and breaks whenever they’re needed.
• No forced poses or smiles. The best photographs come from children being themselves.
• A quiet, calm space in my studio, or outdoors if your child is happier there.
• Flexibility if you need to rearrange on the day.

Families across Teesside, including Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar, Yarm, Billingham, Thornaby, Eaglescliffe and Saltburn, with autistic children and children with ADHD, sensory needs or other additional needs. All finished digital images are included.
